As I've said before, Guster is my favorite band. Well, Ben Folds has ALWAYS been my favorite musician. He is a brilliant pianist, songwriter, and singer. His songs are fantastic. This first video is a song called "The Last Polka" and I chose it because it's one of his more upbeat songs. This is when he was playing with his band, Ben Folds Five, and it was on their self-titled album. Pay attention to his hands (and feet), I think you'll be impressed. The second video is a slower song. It's called "Missing the War" and it appears on their album "Whatever and Ever Amen." For this song, listen to the lyrics, they are amazing. He is a brilliant story-teller. So, please enjoy Ben Folds.(These videos are from 1998, so he looks incredibly young here. He is now a solo artist, and I will share some of his newer stuff next time.)
