I need stuff to read!! Help! Everyone who reads this blog should give me some suggestions of good books to read in the comments section. I'm running low and I blow through them so fast, please help my habit. I really appreciate it! Thanks!
Oh, and I'm keeping track of all the books I read in the sidebar link "I Read," just for fun.

Man, Economy, and State by Murray Rothbard (http://mises.org/rothbard/mes.asp)
Practical Anarchy by Stefan Molyneux (http://www.freedomainradio.com/free/books/FDR_5_PDF_Practical_Anarchy_Audiobook.pdf)
The Machinery of Freedom by David Friedman (http://daviddfriedman.com/The_Machinery_of_Freedom_.pdf)
That should keep you busy for a while.
These books were on a list by Barnes & Noble like "Hunger Games"
The Maze Runner Dashner
Leviathan Scott Westerfeld
Graceling
I Am Number Four Pittacos L.
Medium Raw Anthony Bourdain
The Big Short Michael Lewis
I have not looked at them at all so I don't know anything about them personally. If you try any of them, let me know if they are good!
Nic: Thanks. I'll give them a try, but I was looking for more recreational reading ideas. I'm just more interested in fiction.
Mom: It's so funny that Medium Raw is on the list because it's written by a chef about food. Nothing like The Hunger Games, except the word "hunger" probably. :) Thanks for the book ideas though. I'm going to try some of them.
I have lots of ideas! Most of them are Young Adult (light reads!)
Bloody Jack series by LA Meyer
The Squire's Tale series by Gerald Morris - Arthurian tales
Goose Girl series by Shannon Hale - by the 3rd book they were getting a little boring :) (I like her book, The Princess Academy too)
The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper - similar to Tolkien and Narnia, but set in our world.
The Chronicles of Pyrdain by Lloyd Alexander (think Disney's The Black Cauldron)
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is fun, more so if you know a bit about Greek mythology.
I enjoyed the Megan Whaler Turner series that starts with The Thief.
Juliet Marillier writes modern, meshed together versions of fairy tales - some are for a young adult audience, but the Sevenwaters Trilogy is for adults.
Ooh! ooh! Can't forget Howl's Moving Castle and sequels, or others (Dalemark Quartet, Chrestomanci series) by Diana Wynne Jones.
And I could go on and on, but I'll stop there for now.
I just remembered a cool fantasy series. It's by Elizabeth Kerner. There's Song of Silence, Redeeming the Lost, and the Lesser Kindred. I think that's the order they go in, I can't remember for sure. And I can't remember if youve read them or not all ready. Oh well! I really enjoyed them. Maybe you can too. :)
I have tons of books but I don't know if they're your type of book - Lord of the Ring types.
I'll try anything.
The best book I've read in the past few years is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. It's a story about a girl living in Nazi Germany narrated by Death. It's quite a beautiful book.
