So, I have decided that all modern music sucks. All mainstream stuff is obviously crappy and all the modern indie stuff, well, sucks. It's all like one guy, who is sad, and has a synthesizer. All music these days is electronic and dancey, and I HATE it! Where have all the guitars gone?

Here's the addendum to my protest, a few 2010 albums of guitar rock that didn't make my Top 10 for the year:
1. Tame Impala - Innerspeaker. Australian pyschedelic rock, singer sounds like John Lennon.
2. Beach House - Teen Dream. Hazy songs perfect for a lazy summer afternoon.
3. Surfer Blood - Astrocoast. Catchy songs, like vintage Weezer (Blue Album and Pinkerton).
4. Suckers - Wild Smile. Very promising debut album; fun, upbeat songs.
5. The New Pornographers - Together. Classic album from this super-group. Catchy in all the right ways.
6. Local Natives - Gorilla Manor. I totally slept on this in 2010, but it's been rocking my socks off lately.
7. Belle and Sebastian - Write About Love. B & S doing what they do best.
