All About...
JUDE
I've been totally slacking in the keeping-people-updated-on-Jude department, and since he's almost 5 months old, I decided to share the best moments of being 4 months old. 
Jude is getting more and more aware all the time!
And he's quite the looker, too!
He's still not too crazy about being on his stomach...
but he tolerates it for small durations of time.
He prefers sitting up and playing with toys. He's getting pretty good at doing it on his own, but he likes someone to be right there just in case he falls over, or if he reaches for a toy and then can't pick it up because all his weight is on it.
Everyone who knows him knows how happy he is. He loves to smile...
and be tickled by Grandma Betts...
so much so that he can barely stand it!
He has a ton of personality!
AND, look closely, TWO bottom teeth!
He can be silly, but he can be thoughtful, too.
I'm sure everyone has heard Justin and I bragging about how tall Jude is, but that's not always a good thing! Check out these pants, and yes, they are supposed to be pants:

Not too sure about that! But, he made a new friend. Lily is fascinated with him. She wants to touch him, but doesn't know if she should.
Despite having a little cold, Jude was really good the whole time we were there. He's okay as long as he's hanging out with daddy:

But, by the end of the day, he's a tired little puppy.

The French Lieutenant's Woman
Last month for the book club we were supposed to read "The French Lieutenant's Woman" and discuss it this month. I just wanted to let those people who are participating know that I will definitely be writing about it soon on the forum, but we're in the middle of moving and it's very sudden, so it might be a couple weeks before I really get to it. I guess it just gives people more time to read it. :)

My Way or the Highway
It's definitely Jude's way all the way, and I think he knows it. :) He has Justin and I wrapped around his little fingers.
For those of you who haven't seen him in awhile, he's getting sooo big. We put him next to his cousin, Tylie, who is 8 months older, and they are almost the same length! She is only a couple inches longer than him. They almost have the same size feet. And, I couldn't believe it when I picked up his other cousin, Sophie, and she was so light. She is the same size he was when he was born; it's so crazy to think about!
He is such a sweetheart. You can always get him to smile, even when he's really tired or hungry, no matter what. I have so much fun playing with him all day. Justin tells him daily that his mom is crazy. Maybe it's true cuz I will do anything to make the kid laugh.
