Okay, so I just watched "Serenity!" Jeez...it was good. And also sad. But, Kelsey, you were right. They didn't tie things up as tightly as I would have liked (a.k.a. Mal and Inara) but overall, it's awesome. I love it so much and I must own it. yay for Joss Whedon. He is the MAN.

Mal & Inara, Preacher and his Alliance ties, Wash & Zoe baby-talking and then him just getting killed out of nowhere after he totally saves everyone, the creepy guys with the blue gloves . . .
And I think its totally weak that the Alliance is after River for something she might have mind-read from some parliament guy who watched her being tortured or whatever they were doing with her. The blue glove guys were way too crazy and creepy to just be trying to take care of a government cover up.
I wish there was more.
Oh, me too! I totally even forgot some of the stuff you just brought up. I doubt the government secret thing was originally why they were after River. I got the distinct feeling watching Firefly that they would never let her go, that they wanted her because she is a powerful weapon. There's no way they would let her go.
The thing with Wash totally...I was bawling. It was so sudden and stupid! It was even worse than with Preacher because at least with Preacher, we got a little closure because Mal saw him before he died and they got to talk. But with Wash it was just BAM, the end. And it doesn't even make sense that the Reavers would kill him, don't they like to play with their food first?
Oh, and don't get me started on River though. I was so mad that she waited so long to do something. None of them even needed to get hurt. She could have taken out all the Reavers and the Alliance guy by herself.

River, yeah, in the tv shows it was like there was something really wrong with her, you didn't know what but the mood swings, and weird reactions and slashing Jayne with a knife out of nowhere-- all that stuff was believable, and in the movie she came across like a big baby.
