What happened?
Has anyone else noticed the complete whoring out of Beatles songs lately? Every single day I hear a Beatles song in a commercial, covered by the most crappy musicians ever. It seems like whoever has control of these songs has recently decided to pimp them out to whoever wants them. It's a travesty. I just heard a remake of "Revolution" on a freaking Wii Fit commercial. How does that even make sense?! It must stop!!

EMI and others have been trying to squeeze a living out of the Beatles as ruthlessly as they can. The crap's really going to hit the fan when the copyrights start expiring (in the EU, the copyright on the Beatles' first album is up in 2012).
