Was Jesus' real name Jesus? Jesus doesn't sound very jewish to me....I really am wondering because I do not know the answer to this question. Does anybody?
"Jesus" is not original Hebrew. It is an english translation. The original Old Testament was translated from Hebrew and in there he is mostly called Jehovah (YHWH). The Original New Testament was translated from Greek, I believe, and in there he was mostly called "Yeshua" or "Yehoshua". Actually, all of my spellings of these names are English-ized. In the original text they wrote with different alphabets.

I think maybe it's possible that he was Latino.
What?! Really or sarcastically?
Dang. I thought you would get my play on words with the name Jesus. Bad joke I guess.
Oh yeah, that is funny. I missed that one.
